You can't deny what you see: This is a really nice watch.

Very nice as always... Just a note on crystal size, with crystals mostly domed and especially having a thicker border/boundary, it makes watch wear smaller than the size 33mm in this case would indicate... like this one here... Also if the dial contrasts more, this effect increases like the green and night birches... some more with similar effects are Rikka, SBGY009, SBGJ271, SBGW293, SBGE271SBGJ219 to name a few.. . Evo9s don't have it as pronounced tho... Thought I'd share this small little detail with fellow watch nerds, but it makes a world of difference on how the watch wears Compare for eg 44GS SBGY009 and SBGA375, 375's crystal goes lacks a thick boundary making it wear substantially larger... so effective crystal size on SBGY009 is just between 30-31mm

What a great review straight to the point. I own a couple of new Seikos with rotating bezels and I always find that they tighten up over time.

Great watch and only downside is poor visibility in low light situations.

To be honest: my Vostok Amphibia watch was 20 times cheaper than this Seiko diver and doesn't look much different. Okay, it doesn't feature a date, I give you that, but still this Seiko is way too expensive for what you get. My Vostok Kommandirskye watch has the date at the same position as the Seiko and I like it a lot. So I don't get it why people are complaining about it.

CASIO DURO MDV-300 in blue!! I'm a uni student, and this is my favorite among the watches I own. The silhouette and size is perfect, as a Diver's should. The blue dial has an interesting pattern that makes the whole watch lovely to stare at. The hands and indices has its personality, but does not sacrifice class. The bracelet and clasp can do some improvement, so I replaced them with an Oyster bracelet and a milled clasp. The scratches on the bezel adds to its story, and makes this watch my own personal companion. I love this watch. And hey, it's 200m water resistant too!

It isn‘t.

This watch is not cheap, but because it is a Seiko, no one will mug you for it. It is an excellent diver's watch.

Wearing the Seiko SPB237J1, I thougt to get the SPB143 but I am -27 seconds per day, and I had to send it to Seiko once because it was more than a minute. So I have my doubts in this model as far as I know the only upgrade is the time reserve...
